Los Cabos draws many golfers to deluxe hotels that front championship courses. Reservations are a must on holiday weekends for most of Baja's coastal towns; some hotels require a minimum two-night stay for a confirmed reservation. A few of the out-of-the-way and budget-priced hotels do not accept credit cards; some of the more lavish places add a 10%-20% service charge to your bill.

Most properties also raise their rates for the December-April high season. (Our price categories here are based on high-season rates; expect to pay 25% less during the off-season.) Many hotels offer midweek discounts of 30%-50% off the weekend rates; always ask about special promotions.
