Hurricane Kenna swept everything but the kitchen away from this thatch-roof restaurant on the beach at Los Muertos. But its fans couldn't live for long without its panfried goat cheese appetizers, tortilla soup, Angus beef, and fresh seafood prepared in interesting ways. The resilient owners get things running before you can say "Bon appétit," and the musicians serenade patrons at dinner. For a romantic evening, reserve a table for two under the stars, choose from one of several set menus, and finish up with marshmallows toasted on your own private bonfire. Reservations are recommended.
