Best time to visit Orlando
Orlando is America’s family theme-park paradise, and is busiest during school vacations (late May to just past Labor Day), long holiday weekends, the winter holidays (mid-December to early January), and spring break (late March to April). To avoid large crowds, the best times to visit are the week after Labor Day, the week before Thanksgiving and the week after Thanksgiving through mid-December, or the weeks before and after school spring vacations.
Peak Season: The December holidays, spring break (March), and the summer months (mid June–August) are the busiest times here, as both out-of-state visitors and locals take advantage of school breaks. Crowds are larger and the weather is hot, but the busy periods bring longer hours at some theme parks, plus added entertainment and parades that you won't see in quieter seasons.
Value Season: To take advantage of lower hotel rates and fewer crowds, travel during the off-season (September–mid-December and May–June); however, peak-season rates can go into effect during large conventions and special events.
