Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle is based on a simple concept: take the nine most famous noses in France and have them edit one singular perfume. The result? Nine fragrances of exceptional quality to be had nowhere else. Le Parfum de Therese for example, was created by famous Dior nose Edmond Roudnitska for his wife, and is available to the public here for the first time ever. The perfumes are highly concentrated and stored in refrigerated glass cases in this innovative boutique designed by Andrée Putman. You can test the scents like the professionals do -- in crystal olfactory cases (rather Star Trek but quite effective) where the essences are stored. Métro: Rue du Bac.
