Hermès was established as a saddlery in 1837, and went on to create the famous, eternally chic Kelly bag, for Grace Kelly. The magnificent silk scarves -- truly fashion icons -- are legendary for their rich colors and intricate designs, which change yearly (and men, don't overlook the sumptuous ties). The pared-down women's-wear collection is created by avant-garde Belgian designer Martin Margiela. Bags start at a mere EUR2,300.
