The Bayz, as regulars affectionately call it, has been serving oysters, colorful cocktails, and easygoing Mediterranean- and Asian-influenced cuisine since the early '80s. Start with a drink in the moody back bar. Then try for a table in the front room, styled like a French brasserie. The menu changes regularly, but there's always an excellent selection of oysters opened to order. Blackboard specials may include baked barramundi with grilled witloof and confit tomatoes, or braised lamb shanks with polenta and leeks. Reservations not accepted.
