The greenery-draped courtyard is a romantic summer dining spot. Inside, the 1912 former warehouse is fashionably comfortable, with vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, and local art exhibits. The seasonally changing fare, dubbed "progressive Pacific Northwest," presents creative treatments of local ingredients, many with Asian touches. Try the Wild B.C. caribou with a panko (Japanese bread crumb) crust or the Saltspring Island lamb stuffed with morel and wild mushrooms. An equally creative lunch menu might include an ahi tuna and salmon wrap or a duck confit salad. Tapas and more than 60 wines by the glass are available all day.
