The humble door of this less-than-humble watering hole leads to the legendary Venetian hangout of such notables as Hemingway, Maugham, and Onassis. Such company doesn't come cheap, but Harry's is still known for the driest martinis and the most heavenly Bellinis in town, as well as fine, though overpriced, cucina veneta. The decor is boring beige-on-beige, but the view upstairs -- looking out on spectacular Chiesa di Santa Maria della Salute -- competes with the finest Canaletto vedute (scenic paintings). Reservations essential.
