Except for the loss of the bower in back, nothing seems to have changed at the Rivetta over the course of its long history. Aging customers cluster around the counter, topped by a traditional wine-proof marble slab, while owner-host Franco distributes panini and cicheti. This is perhaps the only bacaro in Venice with opera playing on the hi-fi.
