This is known as Vienna's number one brewery restaurant, and though it's located in the 19th District, it's worth the effort to get here. Several varieties of their own fresh beer are featured, and the menu is extensive, but nothing fancy. You can choose from stuffed baked potatoes, salads, or Wiener schnitzel, huge and served with a side order of potato salad. Especially scrumptious is the golden-fried Hühnerschnitzel (chicken breast). The beer garden with its twinkling lights strung through the trees is packed on summer evenings, so come early to get a table. Every Sunday there is a popular jazz brunch, with live music.
