The hotel and staff were just lovely and accommodating. The location was perfect and the gardens and rooms were lovely and clean. The breakfast was perfect. Would come back here and have no hesitations in recommending it to family and friends.

The property is unforgettable, giving visitors the impression that they've stepped back in time to a more thoughtful, slower paced era. It reads more like an apartment, with varied artwork and sculptures adorning the walls and common spaces. Enjoy the full breakfast every morning so you can hit the ground running. If you need anything, the English-speaking staff is as friendly as the hotel is distinctive. They obviously care about delivering a first rate experience. Highly recommend.

The hotel has a lovely courtyard area, was very close to Dell'accademia vaporetto stop and was convenient for getting around Venice. Our room had a view of the courtyard and canal which was wonderful. All staff were exceptionally polite and courteous and we enjoyed the old world feel of the Pensione. Breakfast was great with a good assortment of freshly made food, which we appreciated. We enjoyed the 'local' feel of the hotel neighborhood away from the main tourist hotels and would stay there again and recommend to others.

The Pensione is a lovely, old school hotel in a convenient location very near the Accademia in Venice. The Accademia vaporetto stop is a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. The Accademia and Guggenheim museums are nearby. Numerous good-quality bars, cafes, gelaterias, supermarkets, and restaurants lie within a short walk. The staff is friendly and service oriented. The rooms are modestly sized but comfortable. There is no lift at the hotel; climbing 1-2 flights of stairs is required to get to your room. Breakfast includes a good assortment of hot and cold foods. The bar is quiet and pleasant. Highly recommended if you want a conveniently located but quiet and pleasant refuge in Venice.

Beautiful, charming building with the feel of a house and hospitality of professionals. We’ve stayed in many places in Venice and this was our favorite. We just loved the whole feel of the place with the little touches for guests.

Antonio was great and very helpful. Beautiful room and view of the canals - we were upgraded to an even better room upon arrival as it was available. We had to check out early so they offered us breakfast to go. Walkable to all main attractions. Staff were helpful and gave us multiple options for things to do, maps, even a free glass viewing workshop. Overall, the best experience we had travelling around Italy!

Hidden Gem in Venice
This is a delightful small hotel tucked down a path at the mouth of a small canal opening onto the Grand Canal. Unusually for Venice it has a garden facing the canal as well as a small internal garden. My room opened onto this garden. If fact it resembled a small bungalow with its own terrace and seating area. It would be lovely in summer. Very friendly staff providing an efficient and seamless service. Comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove. Very extensive breakfast menu.

This is in a great location for exploring the island. The hotel has a lot of history and the staff were all fantastic and helpful. Decent breakfast. The rooms are a little dated but well equipped and clean. I would definitely come back here. The interior of the hotel is amazing and the garden and patio area too.

My fiancé and I enjoyed our two night stay at the Pensione Accademia. The view from our room facing the Grand Canal was to die for. Our room was meticulously clean. The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve encountered in my travels, especially Ricardo, who helped us print tickets to a soccer match. The surrounding area is quaint with a local flair. We will be back.

Little gem !
Amazing little gem of a hotel !!! Easy walking distance to all the main attractions but situated in a quiet little area away from the hustle and bustle!!! Lovely, clean comfortable rooms in an amazing building!!! Breakfast was delicious with tons of choice and we ate outside every morning . The gardens are beautifully kept and lovely to sit and have a drink in after a busy day . The staff are all welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough to help .Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.Thankyou for a fantastic stay !

I have to start with "this is THE best hotel I ever stayed with". I am a frequent traveler and I have stayed at four stars and five stars hotels, overall nothing ever comes close. It is not luxurious, it is not spacious, and it is not at prime location (at least not the best). But the setting, the staff, the service, the hygiene and the fragrance won me over. Yes the fragrance: everything smells so good that you know you will have a great stay. Staff are always smiling and never get tired of your silly questions. I will come again and please keep the same room for me.

Great historic building with green space
This is a great hotel with a nice green space courtyard. It is right on a canal a short walk from the Accademia bridge. My only complaint was that the bathroom was cramped. I had to close the door to use the sink, but that is not unusual for such an historic building.

Hotel small but beautiful and ideally situated in Venice. Breakfast in the garden amazing. Staff exceptional nothing was too much trouble. Always smiling and extremely helpful. Even printed off our forward train journey details. Very clean garden’s beautiful staff lovely spoke excellent English which really helped us. Recommend by my sister and so glad we booked it too. Close to all amenities

What a beautiful property! The staff was so helpful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. I loved the location. It was right near the Academia bridge so it was very easy to access the water buses and get to anything you wanted to see but it was a quiet retreat from the busyness of San Marco square. Our view of the canals and the garden was beautiful and the air conditioning made for a great nights sleep in the summer heat. I would highly recommend staying here!
