The Management are scam artists and this hotel is terrible. After driving 6 hours to this hotel, when I went to check in the fraudster running the front desk refused to let me check in, demanding I pay him a cash deposit. If you read the Google reviews for this property, you will see that they do this in order to fabricate fraudulent reasons to keep the deposit in order to juice their rates. I asked to use a credit card for the security deposit, citing their policies at the front desk stating that I had a right do so. The manager told me that if I didn’t hand him the deposit in cash he would force me to cancel me reservation for no refund, essentially leaving me in a strange city with no accommodations and stealing my money. I spent an hour on the phone with Choice Hotels customer service, where they hand to demand the fraudster at the front desk to uphold their own policy and allow me to check in with a credit card. It should be noted that when this thief finally let me check in, he charged me double the security deposit he quoted me upon initially attending to check in, and the proceeded to insult me and my room choice. This is not only unprofessional, it’s mean and totally unacceptable. They stay was horrible as my room was right by the side entrance to the hotel and I could hear drug addicts going in and out of the hotel all night to do their drugs by the door. There are homeless people meandering around the premises, and the rooms are disgusting. Never again.
