Description

Gain a deep understanding of the traditional Aboriginal and local Darug culture on this unique walking tour. Explore and experience the Blue Mountains, home to a creative, ceremonial, and spiritual lifestyle that is both inspiring and educational.

Embark on an authentic adventure after you meet your local Aboriginal guide at Faulconbridge Railway Station platform. Walk the songline, a route traveled in Dreamtime, through secluded wild bush and rainforest to sacred sites, and listen to what these natural areas have to share along the way.

Plenty of unique and even life-changing experiences await you on this journey. See ancient art sites and artifacts, learn about using bush medicine, and participate in some bushfood tasting. Take in the surrounding scenery, observe some wildlife, and get creative with photography and ochre bark and body painting activities. In the warmer months, paddle under a waterfall in a clear-water rock pool.

Connect with the culture through story, art, and ritual, all the while stimulating your senses, enriching your spirit, and fostering a timeless relationship with the sacred land. After a spiritual day of learning about the traditional Aboriginal life, your tour ends at the Faulconbridge Railway Station.
