Experience the heritage and culture of Scotland on this full-day tour. Explore the lush landscapes of the Highlands, learn about fine whiskies, and enjoy an evening of music, dance, and precision at of one Scotland’s most iconic buildings, Edinburgh Castle.

Your tour begins with a scenic drive past the imposing Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument. Continue through Loch Lomond and Trossachs—known as the gateway to the Highlands. Traveling along the shorelines of Loch Earn, you arrive at a whisky distillery where you can embark on an optional tour to discover how the “water of life” is made and try a warming dram of Scottish whisky.

Take a stroll through the serene Hermitage woodlands and see the spectacular Black Linn Falls on the River Braan. Explore the village of Dunkeld and admire neat 17th-century houses alongside the majestic cathedral perched on the banks of the River Tay. You then return to Edinburgh, passing the much-celebrated Forth Bridge.

Arriving in Edinburgh, return to your hotel or explore the charming city before making your own way to the stunning Edinburgh Castle for the Military Tattoo show. From above the skyline of Scotland’s capital, on the illuminated Castle grounds, witness awe-inspiring performances. From massed pipes and drums to cultural troupes and singers, the Military Tattoo show is a display of music, ceremony, and theater.

Know Before You Book

  • Children 4 and younger are not allowed.

  • Seating for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo show is reached via a short walk up a steep incline; therefore, it might not be suitable for customers with limited mobility.

  • Subject to weather conditions; all performances conclude with a fireworks display. Saturday performances at 10:30 PM conclude with an extended fireworks display.

  • For the Military Tattoo show, check-in is 60 minutes prior to the start time.
