Description

Requiem is a true masterpiece of classical music. Listen to this dramatic work by Mozart under the grand historical dome of St. Charles's Church. Enjoy a remarkable performance by the Orchestra 1756 and let the sounds of over 40 musicians take you away.

St. Charles's Church is one of the most outstanding baroque churches in Vienna. The ambiance of the building offers a feeling of somberness, yet is also spiritually uplifting—making it an ideal location to host grand presentations such as Mozart's Requiem.

The Requiem has remained one of Mozart's most famous compositions, characterized by fear, hope, revolt, and redemption. Absorb the sounds of this mysterious story, performed by the choir and the soloists of the Salzburg Concert Society—as well as the Orchestra 1756—which devotes itself to the interpretation of music from the Age of Enlightenment of the 18th century.
