    Things to Do

    • Straight and gay travelers flock to Commercial Street, creating a carnival-like atmosphere—and great people watching—day and night.
    • Rent a bike and peddle through the area's famed sand dunes.
    • Bask on the beach! Herring Cove is predominately gay, especially further from the parking lot up the left side—families congregate to the right. Race Point Beach is also a family favorite.
    • The small towns nearby are prime “antiquing” destinations. Get out and see what you can find!

Charming P-Town lures lovers with its open-minded attitudes. Procure a beach fire permit and make s'mores as the sun sets.

Commercial Street is hopping 24/7! In the afternoon, hit up T-Dance at the Pied. Spend the evening in one of Provincetown's many gay bars, clubs, and cabarets. (Atlantic House is a favorite.) Summertime draws top performers!
