At one time only the very brave, very hardy dared the steep path that zigzagged along the canyon wall. The airtram was completed in 1971 and offers an easy way up and down, along with a spectacular view of Hellís Gate. The fully automated tram can hold up to 25 passengers in its enclosed cabin.|
History and ecology enthusiasts can explore the educational displays and exhibits found at the lower terminal. Three films are also available: follow the journey of the spawning salmon; go on a river rafting tribute to Simon Fraser; and see what life in the Fraser Canyon was like during the great gold rush. And speaking of gold Ö try your luck panning for gold at Hellís Gate.
