Great location and good quality
I stayed here with my girlfriend for our first visit to Barcelona. The bed was quite hard, but the room was clean and big, and had a safe, refrigerator, and large bathroom. The free bottled water they used to give out is no longer available, however. They do give you a number of toiletries and bathroom items. There was free wi-fi which seemed to only work in the lobby, but was still nice to have. The pool and hot tub were also really nice to use after a long day of walking. The location is just a few minutes walk to Plaza de Catalunya and to the top of Las Ramblas. Overall it was a great place to stay, and we would recommend it.

Perfect
On a family vacation with our 2 boys, we had 2 stays at the Atrium Palace. After an all-night flight and an early arrival, we took the Aerobus to Placa Catalayuna. A 10 minute walk and we arrived at the Atrium Palace for our initial 3 night stay. To our surprise, our rooms were ready and we were able to use them for a brief rest before beginning to explore Barcelona. We found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. Some may not like the hardness of the beds, but they were fine for us. As we were resting up, there was some noise from the schoolyard in the back of the hotel, but we were able to get some sleep anyway. The free wi-fi in the room was a big plus for our sons. The location is convenient for walking to many of the attractions of Barcelona and the excellent subway system is nearby. The staff was very helpful whenever we had any questions. Check in and Check out went smoothly for both of our stays. If we return to Barcelona, I would not hesitate to book another stay at the Atrium Palace.
Traveler's tip on dining
Ciudad Condal was excellent. We ate there 4 out of our 5 days in Barcelona. They specialize in montaditos, individual small servings. Just ask them to bring you samples for the table.

Great location
I thought the hotel had a great location. It’s about 4 blocks from La Rambla and right next to L’example. It’s about few metro stops to all the tourist attractions. The indoor swimming pool was nice to come back to after a long day of walking. Our room was nice and clean. It’s a pretty decent size for Europe. The only part that was bad was the bed wasn’t a true queen size, but a 2 single bed put together. Other than that, everything was great. The free water was a plus. We also asked for recommendation for restaurants and they recommended us few great restaurants. We really appreciated.
Our room overlooking the front of the hotel, where we had a nice view of the blvd. I heard the back of the hotel is pretty noisy because it was facing the school. If you mind the noise, always ask for the front of the hotel.
