I’m Opinionated and Tell THE TRUTH!!!!!
This is an honest review from an opinionated person. The hotel was very, very clean. LOTS of Towels (that was a plus). Sheets were super white and fresh smelling. Pools were extremely clean. My 7 year old loved the Rock Slide by the pool. Free DVD’s were a plus. High Speed Internet was GREAT!!! BEST ADVICE: Pay the Extra for the Gulf Front View if you don’t live around the beach. It makes your trip MUCH more memorable and you will enjoy it more being able to see the ocean from your balcony, and it is only a few more dollars. The staff is a perfect example of "SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY" I will stay at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort again.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Again let me say: PAY THE EXTRA FOR THE GULF FRONT VIEW !!!! DINING: We always eat at "The Crab Trap" it is only 2 miles down the beach. It sits on the beach and they have outside seating so you can enjoy watching the waves. There is even a playground for the kids. Order the Hot Crab Dip with Pita Chips for 2 and the Snow Crab Legs.... Then go walking down the beach after you eat...Perfect evening.

Decent Hotel for the Money
This hotel has everything anyone wanting to play on the beach could want. Directly on the Gulf, nice pool though not overly large, beach chairs/umbrella set up courtesy of the hotel, sand showers for cleaning up before heading back from playing in the Gulf and the beach was beautifully maintained and cleaned every morning. The room had the conviencenes of a microwave and refrigerator which was fantastic for a family. We had a problem with the safe and maintence responded right away. Are the rooms fancy? No. Are they overly large? Again no. But there were clean and freshly painted and who hangs out in the room anyway when the beach is at your doorstep!They were very quiet as we were on the lowerlevel not far from ice machines and restrooms and still had a nice quiet nights sleep. The location of the hotel was very convienent and located near a major grocery store and fast food as well as local dining spots. Overall we had a lovely stay and would go back again.

This has been the 5th time we have stayed here. It is a great hotel all the amenities.
