Great option for a night or two
This hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located near the East Midlands airport. We chose to stay here because we had a layover, but actually ended up enjoying our time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the lights in our room were a little tricky--sometimes they worked and other times they’d shut off randomly (even if we left our room key card in the slot).
Traveler's tip on local attractions
I’d recommend going into Nottingham--you can take a bus from the airport across the street for only a few dollars and it only takes about 45 mins to get there. Just make sure to go during the day because everything closes by about 10pm on weeknights!
