Nice alternative to chain hotels
I found this hotel near a business call I needed to make. It was 30% cheaper than the local chain hotel I normally stay at and I wanted a change of scenery. I was very pleasantly surprised at the look of the inside of the hotel. The staff was VERY nice and helped direct me to a good local restaurant for dinner. The location, while on a busy road, was near a very quaint New England-like neighborhood. Despite the busy road out front, I found the room to be very quiet. Would stay here again.

Will definitely book here again!
My husband and I had to go to Connecticut for a funeral and we had to make last minute arrangements. The best fair was at Farmington Inn. When we got there, it was about 11 pm and we were hungry. The front desk attendant gladly found a take-out/delivery menu for us and even called to find out what time the restaurant closed. The room was comfortable and clean. The only suggestion I would give to the hotel itself was to think about having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Overall, though, excellent stay and we would definitely book there again.
