Nice place to stay in DC area
Nice place to stay with family. Full size kitchen, nice breakfast. Will stay in future.

Memorial Weekend Get Away
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The beds and pillows were soft and the rooms were very nice - including a kitchen sink, dishwasher, refrig with ice maker, microwave, and kitchen utensils and setting for 4. The kitchen tops were granite and the rooms were always clean. The breakfast had eggs and sausage as well as the customary waffles and continental breakfast. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We were only 3 stop lights from the Dun Lorring station - and parking is free on weekends and federal holidays and Metro fees are half. The one bad thing to say was that the pool was under maintenance - however we were not there for the pool. For the money, this is the best deal around D.C.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We tried to drive into DC - DON’T - go down three stop lights and get on the Metro - you will get more out of your trip if you can walk out of the station right onto the National Mall.
