Not bad, but things could have been better
The hotel was o.k., but compared to other Homewood Suites it could have been better. The food was good, but not many options, dinner and breakfast seemed limited. Even though we were only there for a couple of nights, breakfast seemed repetitive and the second day had less options than the first. No cereal or oatmeal, only sausage, no bacon, fruit was only offered on one day. Being at the hotel with children, the pool is one of their main focus. Since the pool was open until 9:00PM we headed down around 7:30PM for a nice evening swim. However, after we were there for a little while the lifeguard informed us that he would be closing at 8:45PM (fifteen minutes early). At first I did not seem bothered, but when the hot tub was being filled with cold water at 8:30PM and the lifeguard was changed into different clothes and "waiting" for us to leave at 8:45PM I started to get annoyed. I took my children and left early without saying anything, but asked the front desk about completing a comment card and she mentioned that I could do it online. This was definitely not a bad experience but could have been better.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We stayed at the hotel so that we could go to Oriole’s Park at Camden Yards. We soon found out that instead of driving into town and trying to use the stadium parking (which forces you to drive around in circles) we could have used the light rail station right up the road. The second night my husband and older children took the light rail and hotel shuttle back to the hotel, simple and easy!

Very impressed
A perfect place to stay while visiting Baltimore. Great breakfast included. We were very happy with this choice.
