Just fine
A carry-over from its Doubletree roots, you’re provided freshly baked cookies on check-in; a homey touch in an otherwise corporate facility. Beds are old-school comfortable; no three inch nesting toppers to the mattresses, which is a good thing in my mind. Staff is efficient, location phenomenal -- away from Cannery Row, but easy access to Old Monterey and the Fisherman’s wharf. We’d stay here again; it’s big, there are lots of groups, conventions and functions on-going, the lobby is almost a pedestrian thoroughfare from the wharf, rooms are more clean, neat, almost masculine in decor and definitely functional... if you’re looking for romance, you should bring the right attitude -- it’s easy for guests to provide the romance in the property, but not a place to feel pampered.
fall is a wonderful time to visit; great weather, smaller crowds, easy to get dinner reservations.

The hotel was amazing, close to all the local activities. The restaurants were great, wonderful food and atmosphere!

Love to got back again
The only bad thing about the hotel, was the water. The water in the tap was very nasty. They (the hotel ) supplied a bottle of water. They should supply more then one small bottle for two guest.
