Bad wi-fi access...
I knew from the price that I can’t expect that much for the overall quality of this hotel, but I chose here to save cost while being able to access the internet. However, even accessing internet was barely possible. I wouldn’t stay here next time.

Nice, very quiet hotel.
The Carlton Totem Lake is a nice, clean hotel. The most notable positive feature was how quiet it was! That is a big plus when one wants to rest. The staff was friendly, helpful and took good care of us. Though there appeared to be some "deferred maintenance" issues...ie...paint and trim, we would give the hotel an overall rating (our scale) of 2.5. We would stay there again.

My MP3 disappeared
I cannot say that for sure, but I had my MP3 Player in my bag. I left the room and when I came back the player was not there anymore...
