Improved Conditions
The last time I stayed at this hotel (about a year ago), I was disgusted by the condition of the rooms. The mattress was lumpy and the room was dirty. But this stay proved to be a more positive experience. There are new comforters, the mattresses were very comfortable and the room was clean. Maybe I just got lucky, but I’ll give Comfort Inn another shot as the price and location are very good.

Not Satisfied at All - Avoid this hotel if possible
The casino hotels were booked so we tried for the first time a hotel on Route 30. When we checked in, we had to wait about 30 minutes because there was only 1 clerk checking people in, even though the hotel knows in advance how many peopl are coming in that day. Second, the hotel does not allow pets, which is fine because I am allegeric to dogs, yet there was a big black dog right in the office, it was the office clerk’s dog. For the breakfast, that morning, because the hotel was booked, there was nothing to eat when we came down at 9:00am (breakfast til 10am) and yet there were a lot of people complaining beforehand, so they must of ran out earlier. The shower was filthy (also the showerhead was rusty) and we had to clean it ourselves because there is was no one available late in the evening, we were told to wait until tomorrow morning (we did but we had to check out, so we did not use the shower). The room rug filthy. You can tell that this hotel is rotting slowly. I understand why most people want to stay at a casino hotel. Avoid this hotel, unless you have no other choice
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You really dont save anything by staying at this hotel. Because what you save in money, you lose more in having a terrible time. Think carefully, you are on vacation, wouldn’t you rather spend a little more to have a good time. We had no choice in this matter, the casino hotel was sold out.

Nice alternative
We checked in very quickly. Staff was very nice and pleasant. We stayed here for the convience to Atlantic City, it was a short drive not bad at all. Room was clean, very well kept. Great nights sleep, comfortable beds. If you don’t want to pay the high prices for a casino hotel, this is a great alternative. If we go again, this will definetly be one of our choices.
