Small room unfriendly staff
Never really felt like a paying customer. I was never greeted in the ten days that I was there. Even checking in. My room was tiny. It reminded me of a cabin on a cruise ship. Make a different choice when staying in Cleveland.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
At the rock and roll hall of fame make sure to give yourself a full day. There’s a lot to see. The food there is terrible. You can leave to get lunch. The food court up E 9th is two blocks away. Well worth the short walk.

Not a luxury hotel but good service and good value
This Hampton Inn was a bit more bare-bones than other Hampton Inns where I’ve stayed but the location is good, the service was excellent, and it was a good value. The folks at the front desk were especially efficient, polite, and welcoming.
Traveler's tip
On weekends, consider getting the valet parking rather than self-parking your car. The parking garage is very convenient (across the street) but it was quite empty over the weekend and I was a bit nervous about it. The valet parking only costs a little more and then you don’t have to worry about walking through a deserted parking garage.

Best bang for your buck!
Service was great. Checked in early, no problem. Booked two rooms, they upgraded one room to a suite so that our rooms could be next to each other. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Location good, 3 blocks from rock and roll hall of fame.

4th street very nice for dinner, outdoor seating, etc...not far from hotel.
