Exceeded expectations
Quaint and a little antiquated, by Singapore’s Copthorne standards. The hotel is old but has a rustic feel that feels like you’re not in Singapore, even though you’re right by a busy intersection. The hotel is good value if you don’t mind staying outside the Orchard area. Two blocks down the road there is the famous Adam Road food center, if you’re interested in a local eating experience. And the Botanic Gardens are within walking distance.

Good value, but out of the way
Room spacious quiet and comfortable but Aircond not cold enough even after technician visit. Generally good value, but must get a taxi to go anywhere.
