Holiday Inn has morphed into Hilton Garden Inn
This hotel is a big, old, renamed Holiday Inn in Emeryville, last exit before the Bay Bridge. The hotel’s footprint is the same, the bar just off the lobby is the same, but the rooms have been nicely remodeled. The parking, however, is a nightmare! What used to a be a comfortable, large, free parking lot is riddled with complicated, unmaned gates and confusing in-and-out lanes. It has become a chore to come and go from this hotel. And there is a new parking fee to boot. Yes, it’s only five dollars but yikes it’s hard to manage. All in all though it’s a good bargain with the inexpensive Expedia rate.

Comfortable rooms, easy access to SF, CA
The room was comfortable but small. However, the guest services were very good. Great access to the freeway & SF, CA. I would stay there again.
