It is not a 5* hotel experience!
1) TV’s are so small and old (from 90’s) 2) Towels are so old that it is painful to dry yourself after taking a shower. 3) Believe or not, there were couple of "holes" in the mattress. 4) Heater is extremely noisy, and it does not warm the room. 5) There is no wireless Internet in the room. Internet costs 50TL = 35 USD/daily. Even at the smallest neighborhood hotel in Turkey, wireless Internet access is free. 6) When I brought up the issues to front desk, he had an answer for everything starting with Hilton policy, budget, management, etc. None of his answers included " I am sorry for your inconvenience. Let me try find you a new towel." 7) Great breakfast buffet and wait staff. Terrible front desk personel.

Renew your facility
Service and staff behaviour was great , but the rooms are pretty old needs a renovation soon....

Great Potential....
As expected...the Hilton is a cut above ’most of the rest’ in Ankara. However; the location of this Hilton gives it tremendous potential to be really a ’great hotel’. They are doing construction to improve it (which is fine) but simple things like mopping the construction dust off of the marble floor in main walk ways would be nice. This did not occur. The decor needs upgrading throughout the common areas to make it feel more vibrant rather than a funeral reception. The room was excellent; however, the WIFI is very expensive and I feel should be included for the price of the room that you pay or be made more reasonable.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take advantage of the local green areas...(something hard to find in Ankara) that are safe and delightful....especially the Botani Gardens

Ankara Hilton - Best for the business traveler.
Excellent hotel, staff and prices. Tip: Book rooms on the top two floors of the Hilton and use the 15th Floor lounge. Eat a light breakfast and a light dinner in the lounge. Enjoy making your own lattes, drink local wine or a wonderful liquor called "Hare". Relax and enjoy the view. It is all complimentary with your room. Eat your big lunch at a real local restaurant. You will save a lot of money and smile a lot.
Traveler's tip on dining
The "really local" restaurants are excellent and should be visited. Skip the trendy places around the hotel, like the Paper Moon which are only average.
