Wonderful old B &B
The only reason this did not get a 5 in each category is that the house is old- 1785- and as such, would not be considered by many to be a 5. My husband and I loved the place. Staff was wonderful, made recommendations and reservations, even gave me a bandaid for a cut and toothpaste. Breakfasts were ample, cinnamon french toast one day, citrus pancakes the next. Coffee and cookies all day and wine from 5:30 to 7 pm. I would go back to St. Augustine just to stay here.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take a room that faces the court yard, not the street. Also take the elephant train tour to get the lay of the land. Flaggler College tour a must as is the fort. Loved the gator farm and light house as well.
