Not Bad
The hotel was not as clean as would like but was worth the value. The breakfast bar was good but the area to eat was way to small and crowded. We only stayed overnight and probably would not stay there if it was for more than one night at a time.

Maid service?
We left our room for the day at 10 AM. When we returned at 8 PM it had not yet been made up. It never was. The excuse was that the maids must have finished in our section of the motel before 10 AM. This is not acceptable to us.

I’ve stayed in better...
The room was very clean, but also very small. There was no fridge in the room. We had an "inside" hallway room which I was thankful for. There were lots of bats that came out around dusk and flew back and forth between the two buildings. In the morning you could see the bats curled up on the stone facade. Not a very pleasant experience. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Shepler’s Ferry was a great way to get over the the island. Also, Darrow’s Restaurant was a great place to eat. Very clean, good food, & good desserts.
