Great hotel in a beautiful location

A smaller (21 suites only) property that is carefully maintained by a very friendly, courteous and efficient staff. The beach is gorgeous and very clean with warm, clear water. Grace Bay beach offers an amazingly private experience The Turks and Caicos Club offers excellent food and drink - have a rum punch or lunch brought to you on the uncrowded beach and just relax. Suites are very large and fully equipped including stove, full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Water is soft thanks to desalinization and grounds covered with lush landscaping. We will absolutely go back to this location and this hotel.

Go ahead and rent a car to allow for easy trips to dining places, the nearby IGA supermarket and shopping. This is a small island but things are relatively spread out. We found restaurants to be about double the prices of the mid-west but not bad in comparison to New York, San Francisco etc. In the off-season (late October) there were no crowds and lodging was much cheaper. Don’t expect Provo to be like Honolulu or Cancun. There are no warehouse stores or American fast food chains. Don’t judge any bar or eating place by the facade - go on in and enjoy!

As always, just perfect

This was our 4th stay at the T & C Club, and as always it was perfect. From Becky, to Abdul, to the rest of the staff everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our first visit to the T & C Club was at least 5 or 6 years ago and the place is still in the same pristine condition it was in then. Not one spec of wear and tear. Will continue to come back to T & C Club because everything is always so perfect!

Paradise Found!

Our trip to the Turks and Caicos Club was no less than spectacular! Upon arrival we were greeted by Abdul (the manager) who took care of our every need for the week. The entire staff was wonderful. The beaches are glorious and most days we were sharing the beach with just a few couples. This is definitely a very quiet resort which we enjoyed, a little further down from all the other hotels. The only negative is that Simba, the main restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. They served a wonderful complimentary breakfast though and would bring lunch and drinks to the beach for you. With all the other wonderful restaurants to eat at, it didn’t even phase us! My husband and I will go back in a heartbeat as we loved our vacation in paradise!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

We took cabs everywhere which added up. Next time we will rent a car. If you must take a cab-ask for Ligi-he’s the most adorable, nicest person!

TCC has the best hotel staff...

Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel, gorgeous beach. One little flaw was the quality of breakfast. Dinner was great though.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

TCI is best traveled by boat. Take a Hobiecat ride if you can. Even if you are not a diver the ocean life is not to be missed. Fantastic waters for little kids, shallow beaches, almost edible sand. Don’t use sunscreen less protective than 45. I am olive skinned and used 30 and still got burnt.

No worries with this hotel

Would go back and would recommend to friends. Very friendly staff, clean big rooms. Awesome huge patios for every room and suites were very roomy and comfortable. Beach and pool were quiet - very relaxing.

Don’t hesitate-Just Book it!

We loved this hotel! This was our second vist to the island and this was the best! We were even upgraded to an oceanview condo at no additional charge! Everything was beyond our expectations! Don’t hesitate-just BOOK IT!

Traveler's tip on dining

Eat at the Bay Bistro. Not a long walk from the hotel and the best lobster value we found! The Somewhere Cafe next door had the best salad! Check it out! Great place to have lunch and an island cocktail!

Great atmosphere and a wonderful place to stay. Received a free upgrade to an ocean front suite. The staff was very helpful and always ready to lend a hand.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

We LOVED it!!!

My fiancé and I stayed here mid January for six days and wish we could have stayed longer. The service is impeccable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful with beautiful gardens around the pool. We were upgraded to an ocean front room with no extra cost! Breakfast was a great treat...not buffet style but off a menu with many choices. Bicycles, Snorkeling, kayaking, all ocean activities are ready available and free. The hotel is small and quiet...very relaxing. We will definitely come back.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

These islands are known for their conch shells. Take a boat tour! We went snorkeling off the boat, conch diving and to Iguana Island. Its not expensive and includes lunch and yummy rum punch. We got to keep the shells we dove for as a souvenir.

Excellent

We went to the Turks & Caicos Club hotel for our 20th anniversary. The hotel was excellent. The hotel is small (around 20 units), so it is very private and quiet. The hotel is in "like new" condition. The full kitchen in the suite was great. Most of the units are beachfront. There were only 6 beach umbrellas set up for the hotel and usually half were empty, so it was like a private beach. The only minor issue was some construction noise to the East of the property. It really was not a big deal. The water was perfect and the beach was beautiful. Take a Hobie Cat ride and go snorkeling right off the beach. We will definitely be back.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Usually we dine out all the time and use beach service for drinks and lunch, when we travel to the Caribbean. We took advantage of the full kitchen and went to the local supermarket (a short taxi ride), as suggested in other reviews. It really worked out great. We did have dinner out twice, but it was a nice change to make our own meals and snacks.

Wish we could have stayed longer

We were greeted on the porch as we got out of the taxi with a friendly smile and a cold drink as we checked in. The staff is very friendly and helpful yet not intrusive at all. Made to feel welcome and wanted. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach was right out our back door and the pool right out the front door. We loved it and hope to go back next year.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

We went to the IGA and bought some snacks and a dinner or two since we had a kitchen in our room. The restaurant was expensive and we found having lunch or dinnner in our room or on the back porch was great.

Anniversary Trip

My wife and I stayed at the Turks & Caicos Club for a 10th anniversary trip. It was great. Our room and the grounds were spotless. The room, beach, pool, bar and restaurant were awesome. We dined at Simba, the onsite restaurant twice for dinner, once for lunch and every morning for breakfast. It was as delicious as anywhere else we ate on the island. The staff members were very helpful and attentive during our stay. We would gladly recommend this establishment to anyone.

Traveler's tip on dining

Everything on the island is expensive, so be prepared. However, it was definitely worth the experience in a true tropical paradise.

R&R at Grace Bay

We just got back from a week at the Turks & Caicos Club. Location is perfect for rest, relaxing, enjoying fabulous views of the beach and waters. Simba, the restaurant on site was very good and we ate dinner there twice even though there are many exellent restaurants on the island. Rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable well decorated.

Traveler's tip

keep cash for cab rides - 5 to ten dollars American each way. We never waited more than ten minutes for a cab.

Quet and relaxing

This hotel is only for people who like each other as the only entertainment you have is each other. The acommodations are comfortable and spacious. However acommodations of this caliber should have essentials like coffee filters, paper towels and mosquitos coils for the room. The island has a major mosquito problem for the insects were vicious. I also would recomend that you rent a car. The menu at Simbas.the hotel restaurant, is limited.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The golf course is challenging and full of mosquitos

Perfect for our Weddingmoon!

We had a fabulous stay here in the month of December. The resort was just what we were looking for; quiet, romantic, and quaint. The grounds were lovely and the beach was incredible. We enjoyed having access to a full kitchen and washer/dryer in our room. We spent alot of time on our 2nd floor balcony reading, eating, or just relaxing.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

It was well worth it to rent a jeep for a couple days to explore the island at a lesuirely pace. If you’d like to get a special souviner from the island look into adopting a local dog and bringing it home with you. It’s an inexpensive and easy process!
