Beautiful small hotel
well decorated; friendly staff; great for shopping; many restaurants, grand ones and cafes, nearby; near two metros and bus stops; easy to get taxi; rooms small but well-designed and appointed.
Traveler's tip on shopping
In the heart of Paris luxurious 8th arrondissement, yet affordable.

great staff, but plumbing problems
A wonderful hotel. They confirmed reservations at two restaurants. I also got some tickets delivered and everything went well. Room was very quiet and large for european standards. But, there was a major plumbing problem while I was there. Water was flowing down into the lobby for several days. Seemed they may have fixed it. A venting problem with the plumbing- heard gurgling in bathroom throughout; though the bathroom was rather large also.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
The cafe at the corner was an excellent place to watch the dancing lights on the Eiffel Tower. A bottle of 2000 bordeaux was only 32 euros and was extremely good (though they stated it was a 2005 on the card, which is a good year also, but not aged).
