So-So
very good location and staff, food and service excellent. Noise level from main road is very loud and sleep is difficult. bathroom shower was very difficult to use and water pressure was poor.

Good deal for the money.
Overall, i was quite satisfied. here are a few things you should know if you do stay here: Location: good deal for its proximity to town. its about 10/15 min out of town, with 3 busses running regularly. reception knows almost nothing about the busses, so get a schedule from the tourist info centre in town. Rooms: the rooms are very cute, not too small, and there is a flatscreen tv (basic 5 channels). bring an alarm clock. there are no alarms, and the wake up call is a knock on your door. there are also no phones there-at all. Food: breakfast there is great. theres also a pub that serves light food. i read in another persons review that it was loud but, i stayed in the room above the pub, and it honestly wasnt loud. Service: they dont know much there. one girl gave me the times for the monday bus, and it was sunday. also, i had requested to be put in the "lodge" instead of the main hotel, and the woman snapped at me when i asked to change.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You can get a bus pass for 2.50 for the whole day, instead of doing one of those sightseeing busses for 10 quid. They are clean, timely, and go anywhere you want. My 65 year old dad and i took them everywhere
