Nice Hotel - Good Location
I was a bit concerned after reading the other reviews of this hotel. For a business trip, my room was really nice and the bed was comfortable. You could hear the train when the heat/air wasn’t on but once I turned the fan on, I never heard it. This is the only over 2 star hotel in Battle Creek and I would definitely stay here again if my travels took me back to Battle Creek.

Hotel needs to be updated
The McCamly Hotel in Battle Creek needs to be updated. The bathroom was small and is in need of updated fixtures and countertop. The bed was comfortable although on an old platform.

Remodeled, but not impressed
The hotel rooms were remodeled. You could see were the trim around the window had been replaced....along with a big draft. The pool was closed during our stay. The parking by valet only - the city parking structure was full. And if you bring your kids, you no longer can rent movies. Overall, I didn’t think it was worth the money.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Unless you are staying at McCamly Plaza for an event at Kellogg Arena - stay at a hotel off Beckley Road because there are a lot more places to eat, shopping, and binder park zoo is close too.
