Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland Paris

Was pleasantly surprised

As an American with very little overseas travel experience, I found this hotel to be very clean, comfortable, and safe. My primary purpose for staying here was to visit Disneyland Paris, so all of my review is based on that. We had no trouble finding the bus to the hotel from the train station, but the busses were very packed in the morning taking visitors into the same park as the bus that takes you to the train station. At times I felt like there could have been more people working at the front desk but everyone was very friendly and helpful, and most could speak English. We had a little trouble getting accurate information about the bus from the hotel to the airport, but nothing major. The food was good in the breakfast buffet, but the dinner buffet was a bit pricey. The beds were extremely comfortable and I loved the bunk beds in the rooms. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent choice to visit Euro Disney

The only think I did not find comfortable was breakfast. It was like serving breakfast in the army.

should only be considered if you intend to visit Disney. Not a good alternative to staying in Paris if you want to visit the city.

Avoid overcrowded shuttle bus to Disneyland, room key gets you free parking in the park, 5 minute drive.

needs maintenance, new furnture, comfort pillows, dificult acces to internet. overall is not bad but overpriced.

First time

Good size rooms. Watch your head if you stay in a room with a sloped ceiling! Nice breakfast included in the rate. Nice location. Close to shopping.

It was clean and comfortable

Needs more front desk staff. I was extremely disappointed with the Internet system. One computer available and the min. you could pay for was 3 hours and once you signed on there was not an option to sign off and reserve your time.

Great hotel for children

An amazing hotel for children: Very nice pool, playground, and kid friendly lobby. My only negative is that the dinner at the hotel was quite expensive (30 euros/adult and 15euros/kid). It is all you can eat, but still pretty steep. Otherwise great- free breakfast (awesome), free shuttle service to park a definite perk!

The Dream Hotel was just that. The hotel employees were some of the best that I have had to work with. I`ve been all over the world and they are in the top 5. The room was larger than I expected and my 6 yr old loved the bunk bed. Even my 1 yr old had a blast in the room. The morning buffet was pretty good. The only suggestion that I would have is get there before 8 am or you may have to wait a few minutes until they put out more food. My wife and I decided to go back to the hotel the next time we head in that direction. Dinsey is the first stop on the bus ride to the park and the hotel is the last stop on the way back. The trains are located right next to Disney if you want to go to Paris and there is no additional charge for the Bus.

If you are going to Disney check the hours. I have been to Disney Ca, Disney World and Tokyo Disney multiple times and they opened up at either 8 or 9. Paris Disney opened at 10 and we got there at 845. My fault for not checking. It could also be winter hours

Who needs fancy, this was fun.

I picked the Dream Castle Hotel because it had reasonable rates and the breakfast buffet caught my eye. When you are traveling with teenagers, or kids at that matter, it’s always good to fill up in the morning for all the traveling and walking you’ll be doing! And a big selection of food always pleases everyone. My husband loved it. The rooms are just big enough (we had the room with the bunkbeds), the bar came in handy to relax at night for us adults, and this place is very kid friendly. Although the dinner buffet is a little pricey, if the food is a theme you think you’ll enjoy, I say go for it. But they also have vending machnies with snacks and sandwiches if you need it. If you want fancy, I wouldn’t go here. If you want kid friendly, arcade games, a pool, a shuttle to the theme park, good advice for traveling around Paris, and good food without spending loads of cash? Dream Castle is just right.

Make sure you bring enough toiletries. There are no stores around to buy needed items at. They do sale an emergency toiletry kit. But who knows what’s included in that! Also, you can take the shuttle to the theme park, which is at the bus station, and ride the bus at a discount on Sundays all the way to the Eiffel Tower! And your ticket is good for getting back as well.

Very nice hotel

We enjoyed the hotel, the theme made it very memorable for the kids. The rooms had decent space and the bunk beds were a huge hit. Shuttle back and forth to Disney was awesome, sometimes crowded though so you had to be hit or miss. The breakfast offered both European and American choices as well as simple items such as cereal and yogurt. Definitely would stay again. Very good value.

If you use the subway in Paris, Disney is in Zone 5 -- typical passes allow you to travel freely in zone 1, 2, 3 - you have to upgrade to get to Zone 5 otherwise you get to Disney property and cannot get through the automatic barriers and are stuck. We saw this happen to MANY people while we were there.

Good alternative to staying in Paris

Hotel was very comfortable and clean, staff was friendly and spoke English. We didn’t go to Disney, just took advantage of the free parking/shuttle to train station to explore Paris. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

They have free parking and shuttle to Disneyland and from there you can easily take train into Paris. Also, load up at the free breakfast buffet before heading into town to save a few bucks.

Dream Castle Hotel--Paris

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly. Our first morning, we ate breakfast early (around 7 a.m.) and the breakfast room was extremely quiet. The next morning we ate around 8:30 a.m. and it was very crowded and noisy! There were many families with small children. If you enjoy a nice, relaxing and quiet breakfast, I recommend to eat early. The shuttle service was definitely a plus since we left our car at the hotel all weekend. We felt the hotel parking lot was a safe place for our vehicle. We would stay here again and I was slighty hesitant after reading a few negative reviews, but overall I give this hotel a strong recommendation.

Great Hotel, near Disneyland Paris

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very efficient. They had a shuttle service from the hotel to the parks, so that was an added benefit. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Disney Dream Castle Truly felt like a queen!

We loved dream castle! A bit confused upon entering room the room you must use card to have lights turn on. The internet didn’t work and they worked with me for 2 days until it worked! But we fixed it! They were so helpful and understanding, but you must be patient! The breakfast was wonderful, and we went to dinner one night and it was great too:) the shuttle was very nice but could get crowded, i can’t imagine the shuttle when disney would be very busy! But it was super crowded and it was snowing! If i ever went back I would definitely stay here again!

Don’t go to (the heart of )PARIS! You’ll be sorry! Stay here and go to versailles one day! And be done with Paris!

Our Disney Trip!

After reading the latest reviews I was scared about staying in this hotel! But, our experience was the GREATEST! After being at Disney until late we arrived at the hotel to a very clean and comfortable room. The only thing I saw that might have been dirty was a stain on the rug. The bed was very comfortable and the bunk beds were a huge hit with my 2-year-old daughter! The bedding was comfortable and even though you only get one pillow per person we actually brought our own so it didn’t matter! The bathroom was clean and because it was a Sunday we didn’t hear anything outside the room! We even had tea and coffee in the room and didn’t have to purchase it for an extra charge like some had stated. Breakfast was VERY convenient too! The staff cleared the tables super fast. People were seated quickly. The eggs were kind of runny but my husband loved them! They had fruit, yogurt, bacon, eggs, hash browns, cereal, breads, and juices at the buffet. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.The only bad thing we experienced was the crowded buses because we booked through Expedia we didn’t have a reservation.

Euro Disney doesn’t have the greatest food and the prices are expensive. We actually spent less going to McDonalds and the food was much better then Disney! The McDonalds is located towards the back of the Disney Village before going into Disneyland.

Good hotel for families

The hotel was nice, comfortable, and enjoyable. Be aware that there are a lot of kids because it is a Disney hotel. If you’re not into kids, this is not the hotel for you. My family of four enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I had was on our first night, kids were playing and screaming in the courtyard which was by our hotel room at midnight to 1:00 in the morning. Kept us awake, but I blame lack of parenting on allowing children to scream at midnight in a hotel. The breakfast each day was great and filling. Very close to the Disney parks with shuttle services regularly. It’s about 30 to 40 minutes from downtown Paris. We had a rental car and had no problems driving to and from downtown. It was a great time and I’d love to go back and stay in this hotel!

Dream castle is a great hotel

I stayed there with my family last week and needed to book two rooms because there were seven of us. The rooms were spotless and the maids diden’t reach us till about 11:00 giving us loads of time to get organised for the parks. There is nothing worse than being woken up at 9am on your holiday by the maid so this was great and more family focused. If you like a bit more time in the mornings then book one of the rooms over looking the lake as they are at the far end of the hotel and will be cleaned last. We ate breakfast in the hotel while we were there. The food was good quality but there is a limited selection. I diden’t like the orange juice as it tasted like a very cheap concentrated variety but overall the food was excellent. It can get busy so get there before 9am. The selection of food can also diminish by 11am as we found out one morning when there were only two cereals left and no croissants. It’s only 5-10 mins away from Disneyland on the coach which comes by every 15 mins. Overall, it’s a very good family friendly hotel close to Disneyland.

Book a room overlooking the lake. Your children won’t be woken by noise and they are the last rooms to be serviced giving you more time to get organised in the morning.

Excellent non-Disney property hotel

This hotel is better than any Paris Disney property hotel. (I stayed at 3 Paris Disney properties prior to this visit) The shuttle makes it very convenient and easy to get to/from the Disney parks. Only down fall is the pool is only open until 9 pm at night. If it was open later this hotel would be perfect for a Paris Disney vacation.

This hotel is for visiting Disneyland only, we needed a van to take us to the airport the trains aren’t that convenient and the time to catch them was off from our flight schedule.

American in Paris

Overall, this was a nice hotel. However, some of the front desk staff were NOT friendly at all! They charge $15 for 2 hours of internet service. If you want to use the pool, they charge extra for towels. Everything has an extra charge attached to it! TRAVELER BEWARE!!

great value ..just minutes from Paris

My family and i really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We picked it not becuase we where going to Disney in Paris but because we where going to Paris, We didnt even go to Disney. As florida residents we are very famialiar with Disney and have stayed at a few of the hotels they have in Florida. We have always been very happy, a word to the wise though this hotel is not up to pare with the U.S. Disney Resorts. we where personally a little disappointed about that. However it was a very nice hotel and i would recommend it to anyone ( just maybe not the restaurants or room service that is where they need some work).

The breakfast included is a nice buffet. And the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the park and subway station so this is a very easy place to stay. They also offer shuttle to the airport.

Great hotel on the EuroDisney property, especially for a family with young children.

Great hotel especially when traveling with young children. Family Rooms have king/queen bed and bunk single beds (but shorter than standard single bed size). Bunk beds may not be long enough for teenagers.
