Good for resting your head
The location of this hotel is great for visiting the local sites - Grouse Mountain, Capilano suspension bridge, ambleside park, etc. It’s not too expensive, but you also get what you pay for. If you’re looking for luxury, go somewhere else, but it’s not bad for resting your head. And it’s great that there are 24hr diners near by.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Most places are within a short walk or bus ride. Hiking is a must - try the Grouse Grind if you dare.

Cheapest place in Van at the time
The location was good if you are driving. Easy access to other North Shore locations, and easy access to Downtown Van over the Lions Gate bridge, assuming the traffic is good over the bridge. Room was reasonably clean. Mixed smoking - non-smoking setup always leads to littering on the motel grounds by smokers. The dryers from their laundry push out a lot of smelly air around. However, one gets what one pays for.

A pleasant stay
The beds had lovely down comforters and were quite comfortable. The bathroom was a little dingy and the shower needed to have the tile scrubbed. Access to the highways and downtown Vancouver was easy and fast, though a u-turn is required when returning from downtown.
