Radisson Riverfront Hotel Windsor

Enjoyed the stay

The best part of the whole week was enjoying the remarkable view of the skyline of Detroit each day. The Raddison sits directly across the Detroit River from the city of Detroit. The lights of the buildings in the evening were beautiful and gave us some great pics. My wife and I also enjoyed watching the different freighters navigate the river day and night. There is a very nice walking/running park just across the street next to the river. There are several nice resurants within walking distance as well as, my favorite, Tim Horton’s. The hotel is actually alittle older but quite comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at the Windsor Raddison.

Bring a camera to document the marvelous view of the Detroit skyline.

Will not go back

Very thoroughly unimpressed by front desk staff who did as little as they could to be helpful. Our credit card was ’declined’ even though we know full well that it was fine. We asked her to run it again and she pretended to do so and said it was declined again. We were made to use another which we really preferred not to. We used the same credit card that was declined all during our visit and had absolutely NO problems elsewhere. The rooms were lit poorly and had an odd smell and looked very dingy. Hallways were dark as well and smelled funny. Both my husband and I ended up very sick from this stay and we credit it to the poor housekeeping at this place. Only the lobby looked clean and decent. Parking was a pain too. you have to walk for 10 minutes from the ’attached’ parking garage to get inside the building to get to the hotel. ALOT of unnecessary walking. They do charge for parking but neither Expedia or the hotel mentions that on their websites, so be prepared and call ahead. We were told there is valet parking by an Had a great view of the river and downtown Detroit but that was the end of the good about the hotel.

There is a restaurant called Tunnel Barbeque which is at the exit of the Detroit Windsor Tunnel customs across the street. Phenomenal food and great prices. The dessert menu alone is to die for!

Radisson Windsor

Good hotel. Rooms were small, but adequate. I gave cleanliness a 4 because I found someones bluetooth under the edge of the bed and some other incidentals that should not have been there if properly cleaned. I gave comfort a 4 because the chair at the desk was very uncomfortable.

The hotel is nice but its prices are high comparing to its level and to other hotels in Windsor.

Great Staff!

The hotel staff was terrific! They were very helpful and made me feel safe.

Good value for money with a great view!

Located right on the riverfront, this hotel is walking distance to lots of restaurants. My room was comfortable and had a great view of Detroit’s downtown. The staff is friendly and eager to please.

sayed there and city of Windsor employees were on strike so the surrounding areas were in need of attention but the hotel had good service. The view of the Detroit skyline was fantastic so no real complaints about the hotel

The Hotel was wonderful, but the food at the overpriced eatery was just plain bad.

Don’t eat here. The food was overpriced. The table was nicely set near beautiful view of the waterfront on one side and near the buffet line for a private room on the other side. The service was fine. The food was bad.

The Radisson

We loved this hotel it was so close to Canada’s nightlife and casino, we can’t wait to go back!!!!

Never Again

This hotel was just pain horrible. First the alarm clock was never turned off by the previous guest or the maid service (you would think they would do it when they clean the room for the next guest!) so we were woken up at 4:30 am. The Curtains did not close properly so light glared into our room all night long. The sleep number bed was a nightmare for both my wife and myself. The manager of the hotel NEVER called me back even though I repeatedly requested he do so. In order to get breakfast we had to go down a very dirty service corridor that was marked as "employees only" because they had some business convention that was blocking the normal access way to the restaurant that is shared by both this hotel and the Hilton. I strongly suggest you stay somewhere else. We canceled the remainder of our stay at this hotel and moved to another one.

comfortable stay

We were looking for a hotel in close proximity to the Windsor Casino without paying the high Casino cost for a room. The hotel was a good value. The restaurant was excellent! We enjoyed our dinner and the service. The only issue is the parking. Must park in a structure a block away at $10 a day. Would definetly return!

Great hotel for the money

room was extremely comfortable and clean, employees at the front desk were pleasant and helpful, will stay here again on the next trip to Windsor

Good Hotel but had some issues

We have been staying here for quite awhile. They seem to be letting it go to the dogs. The upkeep is lacking - they really need to do come improvements or we are staying elsewhere

the staff was superfriendly!!everyone we came across.the pool was a delight.so nice and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. the waterfront location was just the best and so clean and attractiv as well.

we just had to walk the waterfront,but you could also bike ,scate or just sunbath or swimm in the pool

Cozy and comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Riverfront Windsor immensely. The view of the Detroit skyline and the Windsor riverfront park was breathtaking. Our bed was so comfy and cozy. The staff made us feel like family! We liked it so much we made a reservation there the following week when we were returning to CA thru the Detroit Metro.

A new casino opened four blocks away from the hotel and we attended the opening. We also had access to great restaurants referred to us by the locals!

the view was beautiful. they do alow dogs though, so watch out for the barking dogs.

Parking is an extra charge, but convenient with in/out priveledges.

Hotel was great!

I went to the Riverview Radisson in Windsor, Ontario for a week-end get-away with my husband.We stayed on the 19th floor for a wonderful view of the Detroit skyline and river. My husband lives in Canada and I live in Ohio in the US and until his immigration process is complete, we visit each other as often as possible. We’ve stayed in many different hotels while in Windsor and this has got to be our favorite by far! There is some remodeling going on in the hotel currently with just minor inconveniences such as the ice and soda machine on our floor wasn’t available so we had to go down to floor #15 to get ice but that’s really not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Fun Night

Although we didn’t spend alot of time in the hotel, it was really nice. The service was great and the desk manager gave us discount wrist bands to all the great bars free of charge. It was our first time going so she was really helpful in telling us where to go. The room was really nicely kept and everything was clean. And it was fairly close to everything and the walking distance wasn’t bad. It was a really great night!

What a dump!

Not only is it hard to find, but it is inconveniently situated and parking is far away in the back and the rooms are from the 70’s. Wow!

Nice hotel

Nice experience. The parking is not connected, it’s behind the hotel across the street in a multi-level parking garage.

The Radisson is a nice hotel, rooms were OK, the reception could me more updated. The crew were all very helpfull.
