Inexpensive stop from Fla to DC
This hotel had very friendly employees. The room was very clean. I got a room with a pull out couch for a great price and we all staiyed in one room instead of paying for two. The area was safe and right off the highway. Inexpensive gas across the street. Will visit again.

Two words: Florence or Lumberton
In the top five of the worst fleabags Ive ever stayed in. The first room had no shower; I guess thats what they meant by jacuzzi. The second room was poorly maintained: the toilet was loose and appeared to have leftover vomit on its base. The TV was from the golden era and the wallpaper was dirty and peeling. The freaking soap even smelled bad. Basically the room has been vaccuumed, the trash removed and I guess the linens changed for the past thirty years. Originally planned to stay two nights, turned in my key after the first. The desk clerk asked, "Youre leaving after only one day"? I answered yes, and mentioned that the toilet had clogged. She said, "Dont worry about it". I said, "I wont". I had to be in Dillon for a funeral, never again will I stay there. Go to Lumberton or Florence and get a good nights rest. Stayed at the Hilton Resort on Hilton Head the next night, like being released from purgatory.
Traveler's tip
My cousins went from hotel to hotel and had the clerks open rooms until they found the hotel they wanted to stay at.
