hotel on the main street
we were visiting family in the area, hotel was 10 min walk from rail, just in front of taxi and bus services, next to mall for supplies and places to eat. convenient with gym/workout facilities and pool access included. Did not check out restaurant as many local places within just a few steps. This hotel is scheduled to be torn down with another hotel replacing within the next few years.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We purchased the rail pass, if you will only be traveling w/in England use just the BritRail, find a pass to fit your needs for best money value. Made our traveling very flexible, hop on and off rail to visit whatever we wanted.
