Spa Rooms are great
We book the regular room but was upgraded to the SPa room. We thought cool, but no big deal, right? We were wrong!! Those rooms are way cool and I think we agreed the coolest room we ever stayed in! There were so many good things about the room including the three Hot tubs! We used the big one behind the bed everyday just to relax before heading out to dinner. There is also an in room Sauna and the hotel provides all the wellness muds and serums at no charge. We are coffee drinkers and the hotel also provides an expresso machine for free and was another nice thing to sit on the large terrance and have a coffee every day. There are also other great hotel amenities like the full gym, yoga classes and several pools. The only thing that kept this from being perfect rating to us was the Breakfast staff and food. The breakfast provided was not the best quality, but it seems if you got the all inclusive package they would provide you a better selection and fresh food.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Really close to a lot of shopping and restaurants.

2nd time stay
My first visit to Fortina Spa Resort was in Feb of this year. I upgraded to a "spa" bedroom which I loved. The food at the restaurants are wonderful, Italian was just "okay", but "Spice" is fab. The bar staff is quite nice.
Traveler's tip on dining
Spice restaurant is wonderful, so is the Brasserie, make reservations early in the day as they book up quite quickly

Great stay
I was please with the staff and service. We have traveled to various countries and this were treated very well by all. The SPA is one of the best ever. The location is great and the view on both sides of the resort is great. All inclusive is the best for anyone staying here with the room service around the clock. You do not have to leave your romm for anything, but who wants to do that. The internet should be included and phone is expensive.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You can walk almost anywhere and if you do not want to walk take the bus. It is only 20 cents daytime and 50 cents at night up to 3 a.m. Taxis are a rip off along with the horse and buggy taxi around the city. Restaurants are inexpensive if you search a little. If you are all inclusive who needs to eat out.
