Dated and dingy
The paint in the hallways hurts your eyes to the point they bleed. The hotel is very dated, somewhat inconvenient, and the room was small. I wouldn’t want to shine a black light in it. I felt safe, the breakfast was good, and the service was excellent.

It’s not a bad location as you can easily walk to the lake. It is impossible to find a bad restaurant.

Great location
Hotel was clean on all levels and walking distance to lake, restaurants and shopping. The surface street was busy, but noise level was unbelievably low. If you like to watch televsion, there was not much on but news and a couple of old

Not Good Value for the Money
My husband and I recently toured northern Italy. We stayed in six different hotels. This was the most expensive and did not provide enough value for the difference in price. The room is more like a Holiday Inn or a Radisson than a luxury hotel. The front desk help was outstanding and the parking for our car was free so that helped to offset the high room prices. The menu selection and quality of food in the hotel restaurant was poor. The restaurant help was very good. I would not pay the same price to stay here again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The lake is a short walk away. As a matter of fact, we had a lake view room at the hotel. The boat dock for tours can be seen from the hotel. The setting of the hotel is beautiful.
