Will NOT return
The Velda Rose Hotel was most disappointing! The overall smell was nauseating, not only in the entry, but also in the room. Afraid to shower there, ceiling had a large cut-out along with additional holes. Very UNCLEAN!!!!
Do NOT stay in the Velda Rose Hotel!!! This is a creepy, unoccupied place that you should not attempt to stay!

I would recommend this to anybody, it was in walking distance of everything downtown.

Never stay there again
Lobby smells bad. room in bad shape. toilet doesn’t work. ... nothing to recommend....Bad...Do not stay this hotel....it will ruin your vocation.
