San Luis Creek Lodge
This small Inn-like hotel/motel is hidden in the motel district of SLO and is just fabulous. There was only ONE major problem. At about 11PM, just as my husband and I were falling asleep we began hearing what sounded like the plumbing running. Maybe someone taking a shower upstairs. Fine, can’t take that long. Well, the loud sound continued for about 1/2 hour- a very long shower..OK. Then, what sounded like a loud, constant, pounding, bubbling of a large volume of water started above our heads...It must have been a hot tub with jets. This went on for over an hour. Very loud and very annoying. We were on the ground floor and did not have a jetted tub in our room or we might have just decided to do the same thing in our room! The other aspects of this otherwise sweet pace are so good that I would go back AGAIN, but I would make sure that the plumbing fixtures could not cause the same problem again. BE SURE TO ASK ABOUT THIS. IT WAS BAD!

We’ll be back!
Plantation Room - Awesome, Tommy Bahama meets SLO! More than adequate complimentary breakfast, extremely knowledgeable owner, with great tips for restaurants and wineries. Only downside was compact refridgerator next to bed in cabinet was a little noisy at night. Cycle on, cycle off..... Otherwise would be "5"s across the board!

Will stay there again
The staff was excellent and very polite. They gave very good recommendations of where to eat and what to do while in the area. They have an excellent breakfast and are readily available for any questions.
