Fantastic location near Stanley Park and the beach!
The Oceanside Hotel is proof that external appearances can be deceiving. We had a fantastic stay here. The apartment-like rooms were in great condition and the full kitchens had been newly remodeled. Our freezer didn’t work but that was hardly an issue. Staff was very helpful and Sam was a pleasure! One minor complaint: smell of cigarette smoke in hallways... however there was no smell of smoke in our rooms. Excellent price for this location in beautiful Vancouver BC. We can’t wait to go back!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Tip: bring your own shampoo. Excellent place for biking if you bring a bicycle. You can bicycle from here to Stanley park where there are many bicycle trails. Eat sushi at Tsunami’s on Robson... what a fun experience!

Convenient; fair price
This hotel was close enough to downtown without being too close, and closer still to the beach and Stanley Park. Parking was convenient and the staff were always friendly with smiling faces. Good price for the location/hotel/staff!

Go to Stanley Park and enjoy the drive. Attractions are mostly free, but buy the day pass for parking and then enjoy!

What a find
Loved the room, staff was nice, we would stay again. After reading the opinions we expected less the only thing that was true was there was no shampoo. Location was perfect lots of good food, lots to do within walking distance.
