Most convenient location to campus
With two kids at Princeton, we have stayed at the Nassau Inn many times. Its the most convenient location to campus and its easy to pop over, have lunch or see a play and then walk back to the hotel. Also, its nice to be in the pedestrian friendly town of Princeton and not have to worry about parking, etc. There is a great variation in the size and quality of rooms. This stay, we had a nice King Deluxe on the fourth floor that was bright and spacious and had pleasant furnishings. Some of the rooms can be a bit dark and some of the bathrooms are more ancient than others. We had a great Valentines dinner in the Yankee Doodle Inn that was more elaborate than we planned, but delicious nonetheless. The Inn and the meal are a bit pricey, but compared with tuition for two kids at P.U. its a mere rounding error.
Traveler's tip on dining
Mediterra is the best restaurant in town and just a stroll from the N.I. Also, dont miss the Bent Spoon for the best organic boutique ice cream this side of Berkeley.
