Noisy neighbor
We had a couple in the room next to ours who loudly came in at 1 a.m. and proceeded to argue loudly until almost 3 a.m. We called the front desk twice. Each time they called that room. The first time it quited for a time before staring up again, the second time it quieted for good. Upon checking out the manager credited our account for one night’s stay as compensation.
Traveler's tip on dining
Resort’s restaurant, Norma’s, has very good food and a great wine list but can be crowded and noisy. Ask to eat outside if the weather is nice. They will set up a space heater by the outside table for you.

Topnotch at Topnotch!!!
Our dining experience every night was exquisite, and since we are both in the Restaurant and Hospitality business, we can be hard to impress. This stay exceeded our expectations!!

Oasis in Stowe
The staff at Topnotch were just that " TOPNOTCH" . Very helpful, friendly and courteous. Just ask and they will provide. We had leftover food from the previous night that we wanted to reheat so we asked to use a microwave. They actually came to our room and reheated our food for us. So nice and we’d definately go back.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Pass on the hotel food..Its expensive. Instead go into town and enjoy some of the locally grown food. The Whip and Gables INN had some awesome food at low prices. Or take advantage of the tours to Cabot Creamery, Cider Mill, Ben & Jerry’s and Lake Champlain Chocolates..Lots of taste tests.
