Incredible Location for Less
The rooms are very small but very modern and clean. The location is incredible, only two blocks from central park and one block from a subway. I would definitely stay there again.
Learn and use the subway system and you are close to everywhere.

Easy and Safe
The room was very, very small but we were only needing a place to sleep and clean up. The rooms are clean and the front desk is very helpful. This is the 2nd time I stayed at the hotel. It is in a safe, residential neighborhood. Subway station one block away, central park 2 blocks away. Several quant restaurants to choose from, sidewalk dining, great food. Cinema a couple blocks away, several shops and so forth. Non-tourist part of town but with easy subway access it’s simple to get aound town. We did see people lottering or pan handlers. Saw a lot of nanny’s and people walking their dogs. We try to go to a Yankee ball game each year and have found this hotel fits our needs very well.
We enjoy going from August thru October.

Better than expected
As others have said, this room was very small and basic, but it was fine with us. The hotel and room were very clean and well kept. Free wifi. Pleasant staff. Close to Central Park, subway, etc. Laundry and restaurants right around the corner.
