First time in Paris
The hotel that my family and I stayed at was very clean, neat and the staff was friendly. The location was not the greatest due to the fact that you have to travel to sightsee, however, you can’t beat it for the price and the space of the rooms. I was pleasantly surprised because I had read that rooms in Paris were small. The rooms at Suitehotel Paris de la Chapelle are large and spacious. In addition, they have a refrigerator and microwave in which you buy items at the local store for morning breakfast. For future travelers: make sure that you do not take the metro if you have quite a bit of luggage as you will have to change lines a few times from the airport. Take the bite and hire a taxi. Also, make sure that you have good walking shoes for your stay in Paris.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Shopping in Paris is as expensive as everyone says it is. We did not do a lot of shopping. It was mainly eating and sighseeing. This will take the majority of your time as you are out during the day. Since the hotel is a bit far, you most likely will notgo back for a quick nap.
